• The Weather Channel - Quick and easy 10-day forecast by post code, and for popular and personal locations.

Maps

• Google Maps - (preferred) Scalable zoom-in/zoom-out location maps and satellite views.
• Multimap - Online maps to everywhere, plus travel and tourism resources.
• MapQuest - Maps by location and point-to-point driving directions.

 

Mapping software & GPS

• Google Earth - (Free) Can be used to 'fly' around the landscape. GPS tracks can also be overlaid.
• Memory Map - Very useful mapping tool using the Ordanance Survey maps. GPS track data can looked and routes can be planned and downloaded to GPS devices.
